UZWIL, Switzerland — Buhler Inc., the American affiliate of the Buhler Technology Group, and Aveka Inc., a company specializing in particle technology, have jointly formed a development and demonstration laboratory. The laboratory offers North American customers active in the fields of wet grinding and dispersion technology a high level of competent, onsite support. In this cooperation, Buhler has made the complete product portfolio of the Grinding and Dispersion business unit available for test activities, including its new PML-2 universal laboratory platform and its latest MicroMedia micro-grinding-media technology for nanogrinding applications. Aveka has made its particle measurement techniques, process engineering and contract manufacturing accessible to Buhler customers. The lab is located on the Aveka site in Woodbury, MN.
