OPC Polymers has announced the implementation of a vegetable oil surcharge effective on shipments after March 15, 2008. The oils to be included in the surcharge program will be soybean, linseed, sunflower and tall oil (TOFA). 
 

Actual surcharge amounts will vary by the oil and percentage in each product. The range of increase will be between $.01 and $.18 per pound. The baseline costs for the surcharge amounts will be those in effect on January 1.  

 

Letters confirming actual increase amounts for each product will be sent to each customer based on products of interest.
