Perstorp Raises Prices on Carboxylic Acids and Formates

Perstorp has announced price increases on carboxylic acids and formates effective April 1, 2008, or as existing contracts permit. Prices are increased for the following products: 2-ethylhexanoic acid will increase by EUR 50/MT or U.S. $120/MT; propionic acid will increase by EUR 50/MT or U.S. $75/MT; and sodium formate will increase by EUR 50/MT.
