Arkema Increases Price of HC EVA
Arkema, Europe’s leading producer of HC EVA (High Content Ethylene Vinyl Acetate), announced a EUR 80/T price increase for its HC EVA effective since April 1, 2007. Market conditions, combined with high production costs linked essentially to raw material, energy and transport prices, have compelled Arkema to adjust its sales prices in order to restore a suitable level of profitability that can sustain its investments both into manufacture and into Research and Development.
Pilot Chemical Raises Price of Dry Flake Surfactants In addition to Pilot Chemical’s recent April 15th price increase on several products in Calfoam®, Aristonate®, Calimulse®, Calamide®, and Calsuds® product lines, Pilot is increasing its Calsoft® F-90 dry flake surfactant products by 12.0 c/lb, which is effective May 1st. This pricing adjustment is a direct result of increased energy and transportation costs.
