BASF to Increase Prices for Styrene-Acrylic, Styrene-Butadiene Latex Polymers
Effective June 15, 2007, or as contracts allow, BASF, Charlotte, N.C., will increase prices in the United States and Canada on the following products supplied to the adhesives, architectural coatings, construction and nonwovens industries by:
* 0.02 U.S. dollars per wet pound on all Acronal® styrene-acrylic latex products and
* 0.04 U.S. dollars per dry pound on all Butofan®, Styrofan® and Styronal® styrene-butadiene latex products.
Dow Announces North American VORANATE™ TDI Price Increase
Effective July 1, 2007, Dow, Midland, Mich., will increase its price for VORANATE™ toluene diisocyanate (TDI) by USD $0.10/pound. This price adjustment applies to all polyurethane market segments and end-use applications in the United States and Canada. Customers interested in learning more about this price increase should contact their local Dow sales representative.
