New Pricing for CCP Coatings Resins
Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP), Kansas City, Mo., announced a general price increase of four to six cents per pound for its coatings resins and powder coating products, effective on orders shipped on and after June 15th, 2007.
OMNOVA Solutions Announces Price Increases in Specialty Chemicals OMNOVA Solutions’ Specialty Chemicals business, Fairlawn, Ohio, is raising prices $0.04 per dry pound for styrene butadiene and $0.03 per wet pound for pure acrylic, styrene acrylic and vinyl acrylic emulsions for all specialties markets. The increases are effective June 18, 2007, and are necessitated by continued escalation in transportation and raw material feedstock costs.
Dow Ups Cost of Vinyl Acetate Monomer in All Regions The Dow Chemical Company, Midland, Mich., will increase off-list selling prices for vinyl acetate monomer in Latin America by US$150 per metric ton; in Asia Pacific by US$150 per metric ton; in Europe by 110 euros per metric ton; and in the Middle East/Africa by US$150 per metric ton. In the United States and Canada, list and off-list prices will increase by $0.06 per pound. This price increase is effective immediately or as otherwise allowed by individual contract terms.
