Perstorp Increases Prices Specialty chemicals company, Perstorp AB, announced price increase on carboxylic acids effective July 1, 2007, or as existing contracts permit. Prices for carboxylic acids are increased by:
-
2-Ethylhexanic Acid (2-EHA) by EUR 40/MT in Europe and USD 60/MT in overseas markets;
-
Formic Acid by EUR 30/MT in Europe and USD 50/MT in overseas markets;
-
Propionic Acid by EUR 30/MT in Europe.
Rohm and Haas Raises Prices for Paint and Coatings Materials in North America Rohm and Haas will implement price increases for acrylic and styrene-acrylic emulsions, solution and solid-grade acrylic resins, vinyl-acetate-based emulsions, and additives sold to the architectural coatings, industrial coatings, traffic paint, floor care, and construction and building products industries in North America. The increase of up to $0.04 per wet pound will take effect July 1, 2007, or as contracts allow.
