Dow to Raise Prices of Oxygenated Solvents Products
The Dow Chemical Co. has announced that it will raise off-list prices on a number of its Oxygenated Solvents products in North America effective November 1, 2007, or as contracts allow.
Nuplex Resins Increases Price for Coating Resins
Nuplex Resins has announced a price increase for coating resins sold in North America effective November 1, 2007. The increase will vary by product based upon raw materials used, but will include alkyds, acrylics, polyesters and amino resins. WACKER POLYMERS to Raise Prices for Functional Binders Worldwide
WACKER POLYMERS will raise its prices worldwide for PIOLOFORM®, POLYVIOL®, VINNACOAT®, VINNAPAS® solid resins and VINNOL® surface coating resins. The increase averages 10 percent and, unless otherwise agreed, will come into force on November 1, 2007.
Tronox Announces Price Increases in Titanium Dioxide in Europe
Tronox Inc., on behalf of its subsidiary companies, has announced price increases for all TRONOX® titanium dioxide grades sold in Europe. Effective Oct. 15, 2007, or as contracts allow, TRONOX grades sold in Europe will increase by EUR 100 per ton. These price increases are in addition to increases that were effective July 1, 2007, and other increases may be announced locally within each region.
