Dow Reichhold Announces Price Increase for Latexes Sold in North America
Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex has announced a five- to eight-percent price increase for all the specialty latex products in the company’s line. The increase will be effective on January 1, 2008, and will be applied to all products sold in North America. The increase will be implemented as customer or market contracts allow. This is separate from an announced increase in the price of specialty polymers sold for the manufacture of gloves and does not apply to those products.
OMNOVA Solutions Announces Specialty-Chemicals Price Increases
OMNOVA Solutions’ Specialty Chemicals business has announced a price increase for specialty latex products including styrene butadiene, pure acrylic, styrene acrylic and vinyl acrylic emulsion polymers sold in North America. The increase of up to 10 percent will take effect December 15, 2007, or as contracts allow, in the coatings, floor care, graphic arts, tape and adhesives, nonwovens, and construction markets.
Evonik Röhm Announces Price Increase
The Binders & Additives (BD) Business Line, part of Evonik Röhm GmbH, a subsidiary of Evonik Industries AG, will implement price increases for its methyl-methacrylate-based resins by up to 10 percent in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas, effective January 1, 2008. Evonik Röhm will fulfill existing contractual agreements. The product lines affected are DEGALAN®, DEGACRYL®, ROHAGIT®, DEGAROUTE®, DEGAPLAST®, DEGAMENT® and DEGADUR®. |
