Silberline Announces Price Increase
Effective March 1, 2008, Silberline will globally increase the price of all aluminum pigments by 10 percent. A very small number of products will require an increase of greater than 10 percent. Dow Increase Prices For Polyglycols
The Dow Chemical Co. has announced that its Polyglycols and Surfactants business will increase the North American off-list prices of certain CARBOWAX™ and CARBOWAX SENTRY™ polyethylene glycols and methoxypolyethylene glycols, Molten CARBOWAX, and other polyglycol products effective March 1, 2008, or as contracts allow. Price increases for select polyglycols will range from $.03/lb to $.05/lb, depending on the product and the grade. These increases are driven by strong demand and persistently high raw material costs. |
