VERNON HILLS, IL – Rust-Oleum Corp. has been named one of the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplaces in the Chicagoland area among mid-sized companies. Rust-Oleum placed 12th on a list of more than 100 businesses. This is the third year in a row the global coatings manufacturer has made the list.

The Top Workplaces program recognizes top employers based solely on the opinions of its employees through a survey by WorkplaceDynamics. The survey measures critical elements of the workplace including organizational health, employee engagement, as well as pay and benefits. In total, 2,426 companies were invited to participate. They were divided into three categories: small (fewer than 250 employees), midsize (250-999) and large (1,000 and more).

“Our company would not be where it is today without the hard work and dedication of our employees,” said Tom Reed, President and Chief Operating Officer of Rust-Oleum. “This award is confirmation that we have a work environment that allows people to be passionate and engaged in their jobs; while also carrying out their work in a fun environment.”
