COIM Expands with U.S. Site Acquisition

COIM USA, a specialty chemical manufacturer and part of the global COIM Group, announced the acquisition of a 20-acre property in New Boston, Texas, from Palmer International. The site includes logistics infrastructure and a renewable polyol product line based on cashew nutshell liquid (CNSL).
The new materials will complement COIM’s existing Isoexter line of polyester polyols. The company also plans to expand operations at the site, targeting an additional 100 million pounds of capacity by mid-2027.
“This acquisition represents a significant milestone in COIM USA’s long-term growth strategy,” said Michelangelo Cavallo, president of COIM USA. “It broadens our geographic reach, expands our sustainable portfolio, and enhances our ability to serve customers with greater speed, efficiency and resiliency.”
The expansion is expected to enhance COIM USA’s service and supply reliability across North America.
