Impact Awards Highlight Industry Partnerships

Sherwin-Williams announced the recipients of its 2025 Impact Awards, which honor collaborative projects that advance sustainability and innovation in the coatings industry. The program recognizes partnerships between coatings manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and end users that deliver measurable improvements in environmental performance.
Awardees were selected for initiatives that reduced carbon emissions, introduced sustainable raw materials, improved energy efficiency, and demonstrated significant lifecycle benefits. Winning projects also showcased collaborative problem-solving that crossed traditional boundaries within the coatings value chain.
“The Impact Awards are an opportunity to celebrate collaboration,” said John Morikis, Sherwin-Williams chairman and CEO. “These projects demonstrate the power of working together to address global challenges while continuing to innovate for customers.”
The 2025 winners included initiatives focused on renewable feedstocks, circular economy practices, and low-VOC technologies that meet demanding performance standards. Sherwin-Williams said the awards reflect its broader commitment to sustainability and industry leadership in advancing coatings solutions.
