WASHINGTON – The National Paint & Coatings Association (NPCA) announced that author Stan Davis, an expert on e-commerce and other business topics, will deliver the keynote address at the association’s 113th Annual Meeting, scheduled for Oct. 15-17 in Chicago.

Davis’s books include "BLUR," which enjoyed a lengthy stay on Business Week magazine’s bestsellers’ list. He also has contributed articles to and other publications. Davis, a senior research fellow at Ernst & Young’s Center for Business Innovation, is considered an authority on the subjects of risk as opportunity, developing human capital markets, and transforming human resource management from administrative functions to a portfolio of assets.

The NPCA also announced that speakers at Annual Meeting forum sessions will include:

  • Jeffrey R. Williams, an author and expert on business strategies;

    • Frank Mitsch, a financial analyst who will discuss "Wall Street’s View of Value – How do the Paint Companies Stack Up?";

      • Philip Evans, senior vice president of the Boston Consulting Group, who will address the new economics of information and the organization of the future;

        • Marshall Goldsmith, a well-known speaker on the subject of leadership development; and

          • John Brandt, associate publisher and editor-in-chief of Industry Week magazine, who will discuss leadership, management best practices and manufacturing strategies.
