Windsor, Canada – CenterLine Limited’s Supersonic Spray Technologies Div. has announced that Victor Champagne, U.S. Army Research Laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, is the 2011 recipient of its Cold Spray Innovation Leadership Award in recognition of outstanding contributions made to the industrial development and application of cold spray technology.

The award was presented during the recent North American Cold Spray Conference in recognition of Champagne’s leadership and contributions to advancing cold spray technology through the establishment of the Cold Spray Action Team Workshop in May of this year.

Champagne established the ARL Cold Spray Center located in Aberdeen, MD, whose focus is aimed toward the development of cold spray applications for military and industrial applications.
