The Shepherd Color Company, a global leading producer of high-performance complex inorganic color pigments, has a wide range of colors available to the coatings industry. Featured at Booth #723 are two new pigments True Blue™ 10C595 and Orange10C321.

Blue 10C595 is a cobalt blue pigment with a lower surface area for lower resin demand, high gloss, plus high solar reflectivity. Its high solar reflectivity (30%) makes it a powerful addition to the company’s line of Arctic® infrared reflecting color pigments. It is preferentially used in coatings applications where low heat build-up and/or exceptional durability are required. The new Blue 10C595meets numerous regulations governing packaging, recycling and toys such as AP (89)1, AS 2070-1999, EN 71.3, BfR, CONEG, RoHS, WEEE, ELV and TCLP.

Orange 10C321 is a new color and color space. This product bridges the color space between conventional titanates and lead- and chrome-based pigments, and has high solar reflectivity. It also has a high solar reflectivity and is preferentially used in coatings applications where low heat build-up and/or exceptional durability are required. The new Orange 10C321 meets numerous regulations governing packaging, recycling and toys such as AP (89)1, EN 71.3, BfR, CONEG, RoHS, WEEE, ELV, and TCLP.
