SAN DIEGO - The Adhesion Society’s 37^th annual meeting will take place February 23-26, 2014 at the Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego. The society is inviting industry professionals to submit presentation proposals for the event. Considered topics include the following:  structure adhesives, soft adhesives (pressure sensitive adhesives, elastomers), contact mechanics and fracture, and particle adhesion. Special topics include: adhesion in electronics, adhesion for biomedical technology, water-based adhesives and bonding in aqueous environments, multi-functional adhesives, bio-inspired and bio-derived adhesives, composite bonding, novel chemistry for adhesion, and 3D printing for adhesive design and performance.

Abstracts must be submitted online at www.adhesionsociety.org on or before September 13, 2013. To be considered, abstracts should contain timely, applicable and relevant information on research methodology. Contact Time Long at 540/231-2480 (e-mail telong@vt.edu) with questions. 

The Adhesion Society’s annual meeting is a four-day event that features a two-day short course, a poster session, an exhibition, a student award symposium and concurrent technical sessions.
