BYK-4500 improves the adhesion of waterborne coatings, even on rough-ground substrates due to its strong pigment affinic groups. The effect is based on a new process for which the patent is pending. BYK-4510 is an adhesion promoter for one-coat stoving systems for industrial coatings. The effect of the additive is based on a high affinity with the metal substrate and with the binder in the coating.
