ANGUS Chemical Completes Multimillion-Dollar Expansion

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. - ANGUS Chemical Co. has completed a multimillion-dollar investment project at its Sterlington, La., production site. The capacity-expansion projects have enabled ANGUS to add additional volume for several products, including 2NP and AMP-95 dispersant.

"We reached record production volumes in July and August 2005 for our 2NP and AMP-95 dispersant products," said Mark Henning, president and CEO of ANGUS. "The expansion illustrates our company's unique ability to innovate technology from an older and proven nitration patent. A direct result of increasing customer demand for ANGUS products, the capacity increase coincides with our 50th anniversary of 2NP production and product excellence."
