The Chemical Coaters Association International installed its 2007-2008 officers and national board members during its 2007 Annual Meeting held in Petaluma, CA, June 9-12. Chapter User and Supplier of the Year and 25-year members were also honored during CCAI’s Awards Luncheon held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting.

The Chemical Coaters Association International installed its 2007-2008 officers and national board members during its 2007 Annual Meeting held in Petaluma, CA, June 9-12. Chapter User and Supplier of the Year and 25-year members were also honored during CCAI’s Awards Luncheon held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting.

The 2006-2007 award winners included George Howe, Sternberg, and Kevin Coursin, KMI, of the Northern Illinois Chapter; Bob Meyer, Steelcase, and Noel Regula, Valspar, of the West Michigan Chapter; Chuck Klammer, Associated Finishing, and Mike Nugent, PTI, of the Twin Cities Chapter; Jim Archer, RMF Powder Coating Services, and Bob Borman, Contrast Equipment of the Central States Chapter; and Joe Toman, RB Wagner, and Dave Wright, Galaxy Associates, Inc., of the Wisconsin Chapter.

CCAI also honored its 25-year members with recognition plaques during the Annual Awards Luncheon. These members include Harvey Gysbers, Sherwin-Williams Co.; Jack Haupt, IVC Industrial Coatings; Mario Migliorati, Chicago Heights Steel; Michael G. Nugent, Powder Technology; Noel Regula, Valspar; and Rex Winemiller, American Finishing Resources.

CCAI has installed the following individuals to serve on the National Board of Directors for the 2007-2008 term:

CCAI also honored long-time board member, Jim Malloy of Kolene Corp. with its James F. Wright Lifetime Achievement Award for his years of dedication and service to the association. In presenting the award, Bob Warren commented “Jim always brings fresh ideas to CCAI; his business and technical acumen is important to the continuation of CCAI’s service to the finishing industry.”
