The BlueWave™ 50 AS UV curing spot lamp emits primarily UVA and blue visible light (300-450 nm) and is designed for UV curing coatings, adhesives and encapsulants. The lamp contains an integral shutter that can be actuated by a foot pedal or PLC so that it can be used in either manual or automated processes. A solid-state power supply is designed to provide consistent performance from 90 to 263 volts and 47 to 63 Hz. A proprietary "cool blue filter" protects liquid-filled lightguides from degradation, virtually eliminating the need to replace them.
