GONZALES, TX - Guild CPO, a global buying cooperative serving 70 paint and coating manufacturers headquartered in Cleveland, named Southern Clay Products Inc. its 2010 Supplier of the Year at its annual meeting at the Drake Hotel in Chicago. Guild CPO’s network of approved suppliers currently is comprised of approximately 30 raw materials suppliers in 16 countries.
Southern Clay Products has worked with Guild CPO for almost a decade. According to Lisa McLaughlin of the Chemical Raw Materials Committee for Guild CPO, “We launched our European Division two years ago, and it is growing rapidly. We are hoping to expand our relationship with Southern Clay Products into Europe very soon.”
This is the first time Southern Clay Products has been named Supplier of the Year by Guild CPO. Previous award winners include BASF, Huntsman and Rohm and Haas.
