CHICAGO – As of Jan. 1, 2010, the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG) requirements for marine pollutant markings are mandatory for all applicable shipments. The DOT requirements for the use of the new marking were in effect as of Jan. 14, 2010. Labelmaster, Chicago, IL, currently carries the revised marine pollutant marking and has on-staff experts for any questions regarding the new classification regulations.
