PowderCoat Services, Inc. (PCS), a custom powder coating job shop Anaheim, CA, recently celebrated its 25th year in business. Founded in 1981, the woman-owned business began with one production line in an 11,000 ft2 leased building and has grown to 68,000 with eight separate facilities. “Our early sales efforts were educational and now powder coating is the recognized standard for quality metal finishing,” said Gail Hutchinson, PCS owner and president.
PCS was reportedly the first powder coating company in California to achieve the ISO (9001-2000) in 2003. It is also one of a very small group of custom coaters nationwide to hold the ISO Certification for metal finishing plus assembly. To accommodate the increased demand for its value-added services, the company has recently added an additional 16,500 ft2 of space to its Anaheim location.
