CARY, NC - Effective Sept. 15, 2009, or as contracts allow, UCAR™ Emulsion Systems and Monomers will be increasing pricing on all latex and rheology modifier products. UCAR acrylic, styrene-acrylic, styrene-butadiene and NEOCAR™ acrylic latexes and UCAR Polyphobe™ thickeners will increase by $0.06 per wet pound. UCAR vinyl acrylic, vinyl acetate ethylene and NEOCAR latexes will increase by $0.02 per wet pound.
