HOUSTON – Officials with U.S. Zinc announced that two new distributors will represent the company’s zinc oxide division within the paint and coatings market.

U.S. Zinc signed agreements with E.W. Kaufmann Co. and Gulf Coast Chemical Corp. to distribute zinc oxide to the paint and coatings customers in the Gulf Coast, mid-Atlantic and northeast regions of the United States.

“These partnerships give us a stronger market position in areas where we previously had limited saturation,” said Deborah Faber, Manager of Regional Sales for U.S. Zinc. “We predict U.S. Zinc will see a significant volume increase in paint and coating sales within our zinc oxide division.”
