HOUSTON – Officials with U.S. Zinc announced that effective December 1, 2011, it will raise its zinc oxide and zinc dust prices in North America by 5 to 7 percent, where allowed under contractual terms. The price increase is the result of ongoing increases of metal premiums in the market, along with rising packaging and inbound freight costs.
