MINNEAPOLIS - The Valspar Corp., Minneapolis, a leading coatings manufacturer, has completed the acquisition of Samuel Cabot Inc., a privately owned manufacturer of exterior and interior stains and finishes.
With annual sales of approximately $60 million, Cabot has been family owned since 1877 and is based in Newburyport, Mass. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
