LYNDHURST, NJ - Sika Corp. has acquired the commercial and industrial polymer flooring business of the Valspar Corp. With an established range of products, people and applicators, the Valspar polymer flooring business complements Sika’s current position in this market.
Valspar Flooring’s complete sales and technical support staff have come on board and will remain first points of contact. To ensure a transparent transition, the new Sika Industrial Flooring will continue to offer Valspar Flooring products, gradually consolidating Valspar and Sika solutions into the Sikafloor™ and Sikaguard™ (wall) lines. Though Sika Industrial Flooring will continue offering Flowfresh® products in the short term, it intends to eventually carry only the Sikafloor Purcem® line of urethane concrete floors.
