Duration: 60 minutes, including LIVE Q&A
Binders that add functionality to paint are not only growing sales volumes, but also raising consumer expectations for products that do more. This webinar will discuss the megatrends behind functional paints and technologies that address these trends, including new binders for multi-substrate exterior coatings, deck and concrete restoration coatings, and liquid stain-repellent interior coatings. This webinar also will describe new binder technology that takes VOC reduction a revolutionary step further with the ability to remove VOCs from indoor air. Visuals will include a demonstration of stain-beading technology and time-lapse views of exterior performance on test fences at Dow s Exposure Station.
Attendees will learn about:
· A new binder that offers a novel balance of TiO2 efficiency and durability over a wide range of exterior substrates
· Options for developing long-lasting thick-film deck and concrete restoration coatings
· A waterborne resin for semi-transparent deck stain that offers solvent-like applied appearance and an extended re-application cycle.
· Advanced stain-beading binder technology for a new level of cleanability in interior coatings
· A new and novel binder technology that can actually remove pollutants from indoor air.
