CHEVY CHASE, MD — With a sold-out exhibit floor and packed technical sessions, the RadTech biennial conference and exhibition met in mid-May in Orlando, Florida. For the first time, the event was co-located with activities from the Photopolymer Additive Manufacturing Alliance, a new 3D printing group focused on technology development, in collaboration with the National Institutes of Standards and Technology.
With a focus on new process and material development and sustainability, the event attracted a large percentage of first-time attendees. "Our exhibitors report more end users than ever in attendance, with nearly 90% saying that they saw new customers," said Mickey Fortune, the RadTech Executive Director for Education and Outreach, and Event Director. "The RadTech community embraced the event to renew acquaintances and welcome new technology developers."
