OBITUARY<br>Sherwin 'Bud' Steinberg; Was Retired Carboline CEO
ST. LOUIS - Sherwin Lewis "Bud" Steinberg, retired president and CEO of Carboline Co., died Dec. 12, 2001, at his home near St. Louis of complications from cancer. He was 64.
Mr. Steinberg worked for Carboline for 18 years before he joined Celtite Inc., a resins manufacturer based in Georgetown, KY, in the mid-1980s as president. He returned to Carboline, a major producer of anticorrosion industrial maintenance coatings, in 1986 as president and CEO. He retired from Carboline in 1998, and worked as an investment banker and consultant to various companies.
