PHILADELPHIA -- M.A.B. Paints, Broomall, PA, marked a manufacturing milestone recently when the billionth can of M.A.B. paint rolled off the line at the company's southwest Philadelphia plant. M.A.B. President Jim Bruder presented the can to Philadelphia Commissioner of Streets William Johnson as a symbol of the company's longtime presence in the city and its commitment to continue to do business there.
M.A.B. traces its origins to 1899, when Michael A. Bruder produced the company's first can of paint at the original M.A.B. store in South Philadelphia.
