Sherwin-Williams Honored for Donation of Paint for Pentagon Rebuilding
WASHINGTON - The Sherwin-Williams Co. has received a "Piece of the Pentagon" award in recognition of the company's donation of 10,000 gallons of paint used to help repair damage caused by the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the Pentagon building in Washington.
The award was presented during ceremonies in Washington, during which Sherwin-Williams Chairman and CEO Christopher M. Connor also presented a commemorative paint can to Lee Evey, Pentagon renovation program manager.
