CLEVELAND — The Sherwin-Williams Co. has acquired two specialty coatings businesses — General Polymers of Cincinnati and ScottWarren S.p.A of Aprilia, Italy. Financial terms were not announced.
General Polymers is a manufacturer of specialized coatings systems for floors, walls and tanks in industrial, commercial, and institutional settings. ScottWarren is a producer of automotive-refinish coatings, and supplies a range of products to markets in Italy, several other European countries, the Middle East, and Africa.
