NEW YORK - The New York Society for Coatings Technology announced plans for a professional-development conference scheduled for Sept. 24-25 at Ceasar's Atlantic City Resort, Atlantic City, NJ. The conference, carrying a theme of "Thank God it's Monday. . .and other survival techniques to work successfully through Friday," is designed to address issues faced by technical, sales, management, and executive personnel, the society said.
Topics to be addressed during individual sessions include: effective time management and organization; eliminating unproductive work habits; meeting the customer's needs through expert communication; conflict resolution and negotiation; the key to successful planning and goal setting; becoming an exceptional manager; preventing burnout; and reducing stress in the workplace.
