Urecoats Industries Inc., a manufacturer of sealant and coating products partially made from recycled material and initially targeting the roofing industry, has named Ronald E. Clark to the newly created position of vice president of Operations. Clark was formerly vice president of Centimark Corp., Canonsburg, PA, a major commercial roofing contractor. He will direct Urecoats' expansion strategy, which will initially focus on new markets in the southeastern United States, the company said. Urecoats Industries operates subsidiaries involved in the development, production, and application of roofing and waterproofing coatings and sealants. The company's flagship product, Urecoats RSM-100, is based on polymers and rubber from recycled tires. The product is spray-applied hot and cures as it bonds to the application surface, the company said.
The Pigments Division of Rockwood Specialties has named Michael Corcoran vice president of Sales for Coatings and Specialties, with responsibility for all activities of the division's sales force and agents. Corcoran was formerly business director, Pigments, at BASF.
