HATTIESBURG, MS — The University of Southern Mississippi announced program details for the 28th Waterborne, High-Solids and Powder Coatings Symposium, scheduled for Feb. 21-23, 2001, in New Orleans. The symposium also includes a “Technology Showcase” of exhibits by coatings suppliers, manufacturers and service providers, and five coatings short courses also are planned in conjunction with the symposium.
The symposium will feature the presentation of 33 technical papers, beginning with the Plenary Lecture, “The Slow and Winding Road to Zero VOC,” to be delivered by Werner J. Blank of King Industries Inc. The symposium will conclude with the presentation of the Elias Singer Best Paper Award.
