Community-Service Guide and Manual Issued for CLEARCorps Programs
CLEARCorps has produced its first “CLEARCorps Community Service Guide, General Program Operations Description and Replication Manual.”
WASHINGTON — CLEARCorps, the Community Lead Education and Reduction Corps, has produced its first “CLEARCorps Community Service Guide, General Program Operations Description and Replication Manual,” described as a comprehensive “how-to” publication on the CLEARCorps lead-reduction program. The manual was produced with the assistance of the NPCA, which played a lead role in the launch of the CLEARCorps program.
The manual provides cities and communities with prototypes of lead-reduction programs that can be used as a model for identifying local entities to develop programs, community, and resident education, lead-hazard reduction protocol, and resources. Also described are current examples of CLEARCorps projects operating in Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Cincinnati and other cities.
