Rose Ryntz, director for Advanced Materials Engineering at Visteon Corp. and a noted authority on coatings for automotive plastics, has been named the 2004 recipient of the Women's Automotive Association International's Professional Achievement Award. The award will be presented September 16 at the association's Professional Award Dinner in Detroit.
Ryntz has been with Visteon since 2000 and leads the company's Advanced Materials Engineering Group, which has been involved with such innovations as the Long Life Filtration System, which is the winner of a 2004 PACE Award, and a negative-thermoformed full-instrumental panel.
