Dörken MKS-Systeme GmbH, Herdecke, Germany, was recently honored with the 2006 German Material Efficiency Prize. Presented at the EuroMold trade fair and exhibition, the award was given to the firm in recognition of its DELTA-PROTEKT® KL 105 microlayer corrosion protection system - a chromium-free plating that reportedly reduces costs by up to 30% while retaining excellent corrosion protection levels and friction coefficients.
