OPW Fluid Transfer Group Announces Scholarship Winners
MASON, OH – OPW Fluid Transfer Group, a Dover company and the global leader in providing expert solutions for the safe and efficient handling of hazardous liquids, announced that the daughters of two of its employees have been selected as local winners of the newly established Dover Sons & Daughters Scholarship Program.
Angeli Ledesma, a sophomore who is majoring in Biology at the University of Illinois, Champaign, IL, and Megan McGurn, a senior at St. Pius X High School in Kansas City, MO, will each receive a $2,500 scholarship for the 2012-2013 academic year and up to $10,000 in undergraduate scholarship support contingent upon maintaining academic and program eligibility. McGurn plans to attend University of Missouri, Columbia, MO, this fall and major in Pediatric Nursing. Ledesma is the daughter of Hernando Ledesma, who is employed at Skokie, IL-based Midland Manufacturing Inc. McGurn is the daughter of Tammy McGurn, who is employed at Kansas City, MO-based Civacon. Midland and Civacon are divisions of OPW Fluid Transfer Group.
