Emerald Polymer Additives Obtains NSF HX-1 Listing for Two Products
CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH – Emerald Polymer Additives, a division of Emerald Performance Materials, announced that two of its antioxidants, GOOD-RITE® 3128 and GOOD-RITE® 3131, have received the NSF HX-1 listing, which allows for their use as ingredients in lubricants with incidental food contact. These products, which can now be used in and around food processing areas, will begin to bear the appropriate NSF symbol on their packaging labels.
Based on octyl butylated diphenylamine chemistry, GOOD-RITE 3131 is formulated to prevent discoloration/scorch by providing thermo-oxidative stabilization of oils, lubricants, polyols, elastomers and adhesives. As an easy-to-use liquid with low volatility, it offers high activity at low use-levels (less than 0.5 percent).
