Glass Flake Epoxy Protects the Royal Albert Bridge
In terms of preserving important historic landmarks, the task of protecting the Royal Albert Bridge spanning the River Tamar presented a number of challenges, not least of which were the number of rivets, back to back angles and the chains.
Designed by Brunel and completed in 1859, the bridge provides the only rail connection between Cornwall and the rest of England.
