Easy-to-Clean Additive for Solvent-Based Systems

METOLAT® ETC 1 is a new additive that improves dirt pick-up resistance and provides ‘easy-to-clean’ surfaces. It improves water, oil and contaminant resistance. It demonstrates strong marker resistance and reduced spray paint adhesion, and also enhances slip and tape release. In suitable 2K systems it can crosslink and remain permanently anchored to the surface for durability. METOLAT® ETC 1 significantly lowers the surface energy of the coating, which prevents contaminants from wetting or adhering to the surface.
