Multifunctional Additive Enhances Stability and Supports Low Preservative Use

Arxada has introduced Polyboost™, a multifunctional additive designed to enhance paint and coatings formulations. Polyboost™ improves viscosity and pH stability while supporting low preservative use rates, which may help manufacturers avoid an H317 hazard label. The additive is free of VOCs and compatible with EU Eco-Label and Nordic Swan standards, addressing regulatory and environmental challenges in the industry. It also contributes to improved flow control, defoaming, and overall formulation stability. Currently undergoing final evaluations with multiple global coatings manufacturers, Polyboost™ has demonstrated strong performance across various formulations.
