New Non-Fluorinated Repellent for Industrial Textiles

AGC Chemicals Americas introduced FibraLAST®, a non-fluorinated repellent coating for industrial textiles that provides resistance to oil, water and isopropyl alcohol. The finish forms a microscopically rough surface that causes fluids to bead and roll off, allowing for easier cleaning.

The coating can be applied via dipping or industrial spraying and is suitable for technical textiles used in automotive, medical, upholstery, filter media, marine and awning applications.

FibraLAST® is the company’s first non-fluorinated alternative designed for high-performance repellency without the use of traditional fluorinated chemistries.
