PPG Launches Powder Coating With Recycled Content

PPG introduced PPG ENVIROLUXE™ Plus powder coatings, formulated without intentionally added PFAS and containing up to 18% post-industrial recycled plastic (rPET). The product offers a carbon footprint reduction of up to 30% compared to standard durable powders, while maintaining performance. These coatings feature excellent transfer efficiency, reclaimable overspray, and low VOC emissions. Suitable applications include office furniture, fencing, shelving, and racking systems. PPG EnviroLuxe Plus is part of a broader portfolio that also includes rPET and PFAS NIA options, all developed to support sustainability goals. Coatings are available in a variety of colors, including metallics.
