ElizaNor Polymer Inc., Princeton Junction, NJ, said it has filed a patent application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for a new polymer technology that the company says results in sharply lower VOCs in solventborne coatings. The material is based on core-shell polymer technology that also offers adhesion, flexibility and hardness properties, said ElizaNor-Polymer President John F. Hartmann.
