Dexter has completed the previously announced sale of its Electronic Materials, Adhesives and Polymers Systems businesses to Loctite.
WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Dexter Corp. has completed the previously announced sale of its Electronic Materials, Adhesives and Polymers Systems businesses to Loctite Corp., a member of the Henkel Group, for $400 million in cash. Completion of the sale meets one of the conditions for the merger of Dexter’s remaining businesses with Invitrogen Corp. Dexter also is selling its aerospace-coatings and nonwovens businesses in separate transactions.
